Application Error and Acknowledgement Message

Based on the United Nations Electronic Data Interchange for Administration, Commerce and Transport (UN/EDIFACT) format, the APERAK can be used for two purposes:
1) to inform a message issuer that his message has been received by the addressee's application but was rejected because of errors encountered during processing of the application.
2) acknowledge receipt of the message by the addressee's application to a message issuer.
