Receiving Advice Message

Based on the United Nations Electronic Data Interchange for Administration, Commerce and Transport (UN/EDIFACT) format, RECADV can be used to address business needs related to the goods receipt. This message is used to report the physical receipt of goods and allows for the reporting of discrepancies in products, quantities, terms, packages, etc.

In case no other details are required, the message may contain only the information that the received consignment is completely in accord with the consignment information provided in the Despatch advice message.

The message may provide information about any discrepancies that occurred:
- between the received consignment and consignment information given in the Despatch Advice message.
- between the received goods and the ordered goods in the ORDERS, DELFOR or DELJIT information.
